De’arra and Ken met at a food joint known as Chipotle. De’arra was only 18 years old, and Ken had just completed his high school education and was working at a Home Depot.

Ken was smitten when De’arra walked by and couldn't let such an opportunity pass him. So he decided to approach her and ask for her number. De’arra denied giving away her number but instead took his Kik and secretly took Ken's photos that she shared with her best friend later.
Ken and De’arra started talking through Kik for a week and planned to hang out for the first time by the pool. They enjoyed their time together. De’arra mostly took photos during their time at the pool.
Ken was happy about the progress of their relationship and decided to post one of their photos on Instagram. However, it didn’t go well between him and another girl who had eyes on him. He promised De’arra that he was ready to let the girl go and focus on a relationship with her.

And that is how they continued hanging out and built a strong relationship, everything falling in place so effortlessly.
De’arra and Ken's love grew more robust, and on August 19, 2019, they got engaged. And since they documented virtually everything about their relationship and life, they showed fans everything that happened during their engagement.
Ken Walker recorded the proposal process and posted the video titled The Question on their YouTube channel. The video starts with Ken expressing his love for De’arra and then showing highlights of their relationship. It then skips to Ken asking De’arra’s grandparents for their blessing. And then the actual proposal happens.
Ken pulled the surprise on De’arra while they were on vacation in Santorini, Greece. He popped the question during a picture-perfect sunset. Ken also shared a lovely photo of the proposal on Instagram with the caption:

Everyone was surprised after the sad news of separation as it was hard seeing did De'arra and Ken break up. They were such a cute couple and had recently gotten engaged. Fans were even anticipating a wedding.
Ken and De’ara announced their separation in a YouTube video. The August 20, 2021 clip shared a montage of their best moments as a vlogging channel before cutting themselves and talking about their separate YouTube channels.
They stated that they would not be unfollowing one another on Instagram or deleting photos of each other. However, they said they wouldn't feature on each other's YouTube channels.
People speculate that Ken Walker cheated on Taylor, but none of them has acknowledged the rumours. The rumours came about after a video of Ken standing in a parking lot and holding onto a mysterious woman appeared on Instagram.

Ken Walker apologized to De’arra after the cheating allegations via a YouTube video, but it is no longer available. De’arra and Ken left a pinned comment under their last video explaining their next move in life.
De’arra and Ken Walker had dated for five years by the time they were engaged. This means they dated for seven years since they split on August 20, 2021, two years later.
De’arra and Ken made a fortune when they were creating videos together on YouTube. According to 2022 estimates, their combined net worth can be as much as $25 million.
